I heard this song yesterday on the radio and a very touching story related to it...........

As we know this song is sung by Mukesh ji but it was not originally offered to him......yes before Mukesh ji this song was offered to Talat ji........during that time both tried their hand at acting but suffered losses....at that time when Dilip ji offered this song to Talat ji he refused and said that it were better if Mukesh ji was offered songs of this film as even though both suffered losses, Mukesh ji needed it more.........

This was the Golden Era when one cared for a friend more than himself...:)
